When attending East Grinstead RFC - PLEASE CHECK IN USING THE NHS COVID-19 APP – QR Posters are displayed in many places around the club. Download the app for free https://www.covid19.nhs.uk (over 16’s only).
The Club would like to remind all members, players, coaches, parents, guardians and guests of the following Club procedures:
Registration / Check-In - Players: Coaches and Admin Officers will continue to check in all players on the day. This information will only be kept on record as per guidelines for 21 days and disposed of after that time. Parents/spectators who are unable to use the NHS app must register - either parents with team admin officers or others in the club bar.
Toilet Facilities / Changing Rooms - The toilets will be unlocked however teams and players are NOT permitted to use the changing rooms for changing or showering at present. Only 2 persons must use the facilities at any one time.
Cleansing of Equipment - Coaches/organisers must have appropriate materials of cloths or rolls of blue towel, sanitiser sprays to clean down equipment before, during and after each session. The Club has all these materials on site. There are grey and blue bins around the club’s grounds to dispose of any items used for cleaning. All players must bring their own water bottle clearly marked up with their name and their own personal towel if required.
Entry & Exit Points - Please observe the entry and exit sign put up around the Club and stay socially distanced.
Spectators - Supporters and spectators to remain socially distanced and restricted to the Rule of 6 in line with Government guidance.
Feeling Unwell – DO NOT visit East Grinstead RFC if you are feeling unwell with Covid 19 symptoms or if you think you’ve been in contact with someone who has coronavirus, but you do not have symptoms and have been told to self-isolate. If you become unwell whilst at the club, please report this to a member of Staff or Coaching Staff.
Actions In Case of Injury - If a parent/carer is not available, Coaches or First Aiders must have face coverings and gloves available in case of any emergencies. These must be put on before attending to any child or player that is injured. Normal procedures for first aid to be observed, but open wounds must be dressed appropriately and the player stopped from joining the remainder of the session.
The Clubhouse - The Government Tier 2 Rules means that you can only consume alcohol whilst having a substantial meal. East Grinstead RFC have created a great value varied menu – take a seat in your support bubble and wait for your table service. Please wear a face covering when inside until seated.

The main Clubhouse will also be offering take away food and drink BUT this must be ordered from your table and in your support bubble via our table service.

Opening days: Tuesdays / Thursdays / Saturdays (during matches only) / Sundays. With an extra drinking up hour, last orders at 10.00pm and bar closes at 11.00pm, (once you have ordered food)!
The Clubhouse staff will insist on compliance with the above. Please help us - the club is working hard to achieve a safe environment for us all.
