Edenbridge 33 vs 7 Under 16s

Both sides started with pace right from the off with Edenbridge attacking aggressively  resulting in their first try and conversion within minutes.

G’s kept up the pressure and attacked the Edenbridge defence with vigour. However, through a number of errors on G’s part Edenbridge managed to score a second try with no conversion.

Again G’s were not put off and through excellent pressure and attacking  we managed to pass out to Joy Chuta who stormed through to score our only try of the game which was converted by Scott Anderson.

Before the end of the first half Edenbridge scored a third try and converted finishing 19-7 up.

The second half saw two more tries and conversions by Edenbridge resulting in the final score of 33-7.

The score did not reflect the quality of G’s game which was of a high standard, with plenty of possession and vigorous attacking throughout. Unfortunately a few mistakes on our part let Edenbridge through to achieve their vital tries.

Joy Chuta was named man of the match, but the whole team played well and there is much to build on.
