Although the play was fairly even Chichester pressed hard from the off managing a first try from an unlucky kick out of Gs defense which was caught and put away followed by a conversion. A second try came soon after for Chichester from positive play out to the wing being scored in the corner with no conversion.
Gs responded with Scott Anderson scoring a try against heavy opposition near to the end of the first half with no conversion. The first half was fiercely fought by both sides.
Gs started the second half with a hard drive , but, Chichester managed to win the ball scoring a try behind the posts and converted.
Gs responded with a clever try scored by Josh Hill behind the posts and converted by Scott Anderson. Chichester immediately came back with a try in the corner and no conversion.
Gs did not give up and again responded with a further try by Ryan Spivey who kicked the ball most of the way into the try area before dropping onto it to finish off.
Chichester scored three more tries before the game ended, but, Gs fought bravely to the final whistle pressing Chichester’s defense all the time.
Man of the match was Jean Paul who literally put his body on the line for his side fighting with determination all the way.
